Next week we will meet you all at Prague Gothic Treffen and we have another portion of news for you.
First of all, we wanted to remind you about the traditional Saturday Gothic picnic. It will take place (just as last year) right on the island of Štvanice, within sight of the festival venue. There is no specific programme for the picnic and that is the point - it is a space for you to chat with all your old friends, meet new ones, take memorable photos and tune in to the gigs in the shade of the trees by the river (and a beautiful view of Prague Castle). And then get into the swirl of the evening program with everyone. Picnic starts at 4pm on Saturday here:
And because it's not only the atmosphere and drinks that make a goth alive (or at least un-dead), we have arranged a food stand to be parked right in front of Bike Jesus during both festival days. The exact menu will be curated based on the weather, but in all cases both meaty and vegan options will be available. So you don't have to leave the island to get dinner after the picnic. You pretty much don't have to leave the island during the whole PGT, if that's what you like. And that's cool.
Because we care about PGT being a safe space for everyone and at all times, we have decided to add a new feature this year and that is the participation of the awareness team in the club. Its members will be available both nights, checking both floors and being ready to help in case anyone gets sick, feels unwell for any reason or needs other help. So if you should happen to need it (and we sincerely hope you won't), please don't hesitate to contact the staff in signal vests. That's exactly what they're there for.
And the final important thing, the exact time schedule of live bands. Again, we tried to arrange it in such a way that the overlaps are as small as possible and you can enjoy most of the set of all artists. Hopefully, you will be able to catch everything you want to see. By the way, which band are you looking forward to see the most?
