This year's line-up will be enriched by another batch of new performers and Czech (and even European) premieres.

Here is another update to this year's Prague Gothic Treffen program. Last year's anniversary edition showed us that we are on the right track, and we firmly believe that you will continue to follow us on this path. For us, this definitely means that we must prepare another attractive (not only) musical menu for you, so that you have a reason to come back to us again.

In case some of you missed it, we'd like to repeat the most important details: The 21st Prague Gothic Treffen will take place on August 28-29, 2026, at the Fuchs2 and Bike Jesus clubs on Prague's Štvanice Island.

So far, we have introduced ten performers who will be heading to our annual gathering in August. They are British gothic matadors The Danse Society, the revived legend Ghost Dance, Belgian electronic giant Vomito Negro, Texas brother duo NITE, Spanish post-punk hitmakers Darkways, Hungarian electronic stalwarts Black Nail Cabaret, Swiss new wave/post-punk comet Lone Assembly, French electronic artists Potochkine, Italian darkwave quartet Estetica Noir, and Slovak dark electro/artpop duo Majo Polyak and Radmila Svensson. Who else can you look forward to?
 

First, we will satisfy those who call for a sharper guitar sound. Originally Croatian, now based in Germany, Kadeadkas swears by a raw combination of punk and post-punk in the style of the early 80s with a touch of 70s psychedelia. In addition to the distinctive sound of the bass, the band's trademark is the piercing vocals of singer Katy. Over the decade of its existence, the band has released an EP and a full-length album distributed by Young and Cold Records. However, their strength lies primarily in their energetic concerts, which you can see and hear for yourself at PGT.

We are proud to announce an overseas project that will make its European premiere at this year's PGT. Singer and multi-instrumentalist Jack Armondo has been active on the dark scene under the pseudonym Panic Priest since 2017 and has produced four full-length albums released on the respected Negative Gain label. His excellent current album "Once Wild", which, in addition to its characteristic darkwave sound, has absorbed a noticeable dose of 1980s aesthetics, has greatly expanded his listener base. However, until now, only listeners in the United States have been able to enjoy his concerts. We are therefore very happy that Jack will play his very first concert in Europe at this year's Prague Gothic Treffen!

Panic Priest - Wait For Night

The next confirmed name takes us back across the Atlantic, where darkwave/deathpop band Corlyx hails from. Singer Caitlin Stokes and producer Brandon Ashley founded the band in their hometown of Los Angeles eleven years ago and decided to mix 80s post-punk, grunge, and industrial sounds with modern electronic elements. After releasing several EPs, the band moved to Europe, recruited bassist Davy Rocco, and, most importantly, signed with the Out of Line record label, which quickly brought them to the attention of European listeners. Last year's album "Purple Pain" also features an original sound and imaginative visuals, both in music videos and live performances. Corlyx will also make their Czech premiere at this year's PGT.
