INTRODUCING MORE CONFIRMED NAMES FOR XXI. PRAGUE GOTHIC TREFFEN

Two months have passed since this year's PGT. It's time to take a look at what (and who) is in store for you in the coming year.

The 20th anniversary Prague Gothic Treffen was a real blast. Not only did we sell out both events—the annual PGT Cruise and the two-day music marathon itself—a month and a half before they took place, but we also received a huge flood of enthusiastic responses from you. Absolutely all the artists gave excellent performances, and we are particularly pleased that most of you appreciate the unique atmosphere and vibe of this event. We are really happy about that and thank you all very much for it.

We will kick off the third decade of PGT on the traditional date, i.e., the last weekend in August. The 21st Prague Gothic Treffen will take place on August 28 and 29, 2026, at the same location, i.e., the Fuchs2 and Bike Jesus clubs on Štvanice Island in Prague. Once again, we will try to put together a musical menu that will (hopefully) satisfy you not only with its genre diversity, but also with the opportunity to experience the work of rising stars alongside time-tested giants.

We already introduced the first four confirmed names during this year's edition: British gothic matadors The Danse Society, Swiss new wave/post-punk comet Lone Assembly, Italian darkwave quartet Estetica Noir, and Slovak dark electro/artpop duo Majo Polyak and Radmila Svensson. Today, we are adding three more names to the list, which you can look forward to next year.

The Parisian duo Potochkine has been navigating the waters of dynamic, restless electronica for a decade, during which time they have released three albums filled with a mixture of darkwave, techno, EBM, and dark synth. Pauline Alcaïdé and Hugo Sempé know how to be theatrical and intimate at the same time; their icy, mesmerizing musical compositions with vocals in French send you on a journey to explore visceral universes filled with bipolarity, fear, and dark thoughts. After a four-year hiatus, Potochkine released their fresh seven-song mini-album "Sang d'Encré" in early October. Come and free yourself from your sorrows and torments at their premiere Czech performance. We guarantee it will be worth it.

Potochkine - BI

Synthpop, darkwave, and post-punk are the cornerstones of the work of Texas band NITE, formed by brothers Myles and Kyle Mendes. They are no newcomers either, having released their first album back in 2013. Their unique ability to combine captivating melodies with energetic beats, bridging the gap between dark nostalgia and modern electronic pop, has earned the band well-deserved attention. Their hits such as "All Your Pain" and "Price for Heaven" have gone viral, and crowds of fans rave about their live performances. And at PGT, you will have the opportunity to experience this for the first time in the Czech Republic.

NITE - Price for Heaven

Belgian electronic legend Vomito Negro has an incredible forty-two years of history behind it. Frontman Gin Devo reigns supreme with his unique ability to transform their mix of EBM and electro-industrial into a hypnotic, dark ritual that will take your breath away. Intensity, creativity, and passion, rhythmic loops relentlessly rumbling beneath dark soundscapes. There is no room for sunshine and joy here—this is a club trip to electronic hell. In its Czech premiere, for the first time at Prague Gothic Treffen. You can't miss this.

Vomito Negro - Black Plague

Of course, this list is not the end of the PGT program. Before the end of this year, we will reveal more artists. In addition to musical performances, you can look forward to loud and danceable afterparties, and we are also working hard on other news, which we will share with you as soon as everything is confirmed. In the meantime, be sure to check out the tickets, which are available exclusively at GoOut.cz. If we were excited about the great presales last year, know that this year you've gone completely wild. And you don't want to miss out on this, do you?
