I like this, however, "Gothic" in music refers to the lyrical content taking inspiration from Gothic - architecture (yes, there's songs based around Gothic architecture) or literature. Entire genres aren't "gothic" just because, nor because a lot of goths might like those or they're commonly played at or in goth clubs, festivals, etc.
Synth-pop has been listed there... but can you imagine Lady Gaga's "ARTPOP" being listed as "Gothic" simply because it's part of the synth-pop category? Or even something like Nik Kershaw's The Riddle which is also a synth-pop song. No, it doesn't make sense to categorise entire genres with separate/dissociated backgrounds as "Gothic". It just leads to more confusion.
