Darkpunkový soubor Alaric z amerického Oaklandu nachystal na 6. května vydání své nové desky "End of Mirrors", kterou do světa vyšle label Neurot Recordings. U této příležitosti kapela uvolnila první ochutnávku v podobě skladby "Angel", která celé album uzavírá. Vokalista Shane Baker k ní říká: "'Angel' je poslední skladba, kterou jsme pro novou desku napsali, v rytmu waltzu s melodickou kytarou v ní rozvíjíme příběh romantiky, která je odsouzena k zániku. Nejprve tu byl Ráj a pak zemřela nevinnost. Byl tu Lucifer a jeho padlí andělé, zklamaní a se zlomeným srdcem od Boha, kteří se rozhodli vytvořit nový svět v pekle. A pak tu byla naděje...."

Oakland (USA) based dark punk collective Alaric, who are set to release on 6th May via Neurot Recordings their new album End Of Mirrors, in advance of its release, today offers the first teaser from the record in the form of closing hymn, "Angel". More album details can be checked out over HERE.
Vocalist Shane Baker comments about the track: ""Angel" is the last song we wrote for the album and the first to be revealed. The bass and drums push and pull in a waltz while a melodic lead guitar threads through. The narrative seems a story of a romance that is doomed when the narrator goes off to war. The endless eternal war. There was Eden and then there was the death of innocence. It relates to all falls from grace, which is just change. There is Lucifer and his angels falling from heaven, disappointed and heartbroken with their God as they vow to create a new world for themselves in Hell. And then there is hope."
