We still haven’t properly caught up on sleep, some of you may not even have taken your festival wristbands off yet, and the adrenaline levels raised by last weekend are only slowly returning to normal… XXI Prague Gothic Treffen ended less than two days ago, but since the best cure for waiting is having something new to look forward to, we’re opening the next chapter straight away. XXII Prague Gothic Treffen will take place on 27–28 August 2027, and we can already reveal the first four confirmed acts.
Next year’s dancefloor duties will be handled, among others, by Berlin trio Dina Summer, the joint project of dark-disco duo Local Suicide and producer Kalipo. Their dark retro-futurist cocktail blends new wave, EBM, Italo disco and electroclash, and this year they added another dose of fresh material with the album Children Of The Night. If you like your goth with a proper beat, this “disco goth” outfit is definitely one to underline.
Dina Summer - Girls Gang
A very different slice of history will arrive in Prague courtesy of Scotland’s Twisted Nerve. Formed in Edinburgh in the late 1970s, the band evolved from punk roots into raw post-punk, deathrock and early gothic rock. Twisted Nerve belonged to the generation that played London’s original Batcave at a time when the very word “goth” was only just finding its place in the vocabulary of music fans. Their rediscovery by a younger generation has brought them firmly back into the spotlight. Come and see why.

From Italy comes The Spoiled, the project of Giovanni Santolla, layering hazy guitars, electronics, shoegaze and darkwave around a post-punk core. This year saw the release of When It Rains on respected label Avant! Records, pushing the project further towards electrogaze and new wave. The Spoiled have also been attracting more and more attention lately thanks to their knack for genuinely catchy songs, and look very much like one of those names we’ll be hearing a lot more about soon.
The Spoiled - Not My Cure
The first four confirmed acts are rounded off by Barcelona duo HUIR, aka Ana Of The Head and David Solazo. Their music sits at the crossroads of darkwave, coldwave, electronics and post-punk, and this year they brought those strands together on their new album States of Light. Produced under the supervision of Maurizio Baggio, the record uses the contrast between light and darkness as a reflection of shifting human emotions. The duo have been successfully unleashing their contemporary, pulsating sound on audiences across Europe — next year Prague joins the list.

And of course, this is only the beginning. More names are already finding their way into the programme, and as always, we’ll be revealing them gradually.
Alongside the first four acts, we’re also launching ticket sales. For the quickest among you, we’ve prepared a special opportunity to grab an early-bird festival pass for CZK 1,190 + fees. Only 50 tickets are available, until sold out or no later than 30 September 2026. So if you already know you don’t want to miss next summer’s gathering of the bats, you can get next August sorted well in advance.
Once again, thank you to everyone who spent last weekend with us. For the atmosphere, the packed clubs, the reunions, the familiar and new faces, and for making Prague Gothic Treffen something that stopped being merely a list of bands on a poster a long time ago.
One edition has barely ended and we’re already preparing the next. And if waiting until next August still feels a little too long, this year we have a solution: we recently announced the very first Winter Prague Gothic Treffen, so this time we’ll be seeing each other much sooner. Tickets for the winter edition are already on sale, and we’ll be gradually serving up more details and the first names very soon.
Post-festival blues simply won’t get much room to breathe this year.
