We’re slowly approaching the finale—here’s the penultimate batch of bands for this year’s biggest gothic gathering around. Who can you look forward to seeing?

Last month, we shared the good news that we’re expanding this year’s Prague Gothic Treffen to include an additional stage at Villa Štvanice, which means not only greater comfort but also more concerts. We’ve also announced three more acts, so you already know you can look forward to artists such as British gothic matadors The Danse Society, the revived legend Ghost Dance, Belgian electronic giants Vomito Negro, Texas brother duo NITE, Swdish electronic music veterans Cryo, Spanish post-punk hitmakers Darkways, Hungarian electronic stalwarts Black Nail Cabaret, American darkwave/deathpop riders Corlyx, Swiss new wave/post-punk comet Lone Assembly, French electronic sensation Potochkine, the European premiere of American synth buster Panic Priest, Croatian-German deathrock strike force Kadeadkas, German beyond-the-grave electronics Cattac, Italian darkwave quartet Estetica Noir, and Slovak dark electro/artpop duo Majo Polyak and Radmila Svensson. Who else have we added to the gang?

Argentine producer Skelesys has established himself as one of the most intriguing projects at the intersection of post-punk, darkwave, and futuristic electronic sounds. His work blends raw guitar lines with dense electronic textures, dark atmospheres, and emotive vocals, creating a unique soundscape that straddles the line between dance beats and underground experimentation. Skelesys regularly performs as both a DJ and a live act, and his sets are an intense visual and musical experience, drawing inspiration from gothic, darkwave, and dark electronic genres. For the first time in the Czech Republic, and he’s coming in full force. Get ready!

Skelesys - Golden Eyes

The Bremen-based quartet Cataphiles brings us intense guitar riffs that seem to have been plucked straight from the dark catacombs beneath the streets of Paris. Their aggressive deathrock, enhanced by minimalist synth pads, relies not only on an almost punk-like intensity but also on the combination of Anja’s female vocals and Mommer’s male vocals. The band has crystallized its current sound on its latest album, "Shadow Self," which hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans of dark guitar music or the influential webzine Post-punk.com. Cataphiles - My Wasted Life

To trace the roots of the Oh Madonna project, we’ll head to Germany. And not just there. A thorough search would lead us all the way to the famous street Rue Oberkampf. The sensual, dark electronica bears the unmistakable club-ready sound of its more famous sibling, though it floats in much more retro waters. Put on your sunglasses and hit the smoky dance floor for a hypnotic and intense dance ride through dark electronica, synth pop, dark wave, nostalgia, desire, pain, and love. Just the way you like it.

Oh Madonna - Rosemary

However, apart from the new additions, we also have some changes to the lineup. Altar De Fey, who were recently announced, have unfortunately had to cancel their entire European tour and will therefore not be able to perform at Prague Gothic Treffen. We are, of course, actively searching for a replacement, whom we will introduce to you as soon as possible.

The lineup for the 21st PGT is almost complete. But only almost. You can still look forward to the final batch of names (including one headliner) who will be playing for you in Prague, and we’re very excited about them.
